Purpose

This number connects a home dashboard I built for my daughter, Bexley, to an AT&T amiGO Jr smartwatch — a kids' cellular watch with no data plan or app store of its own, only calling and texting. The dashboard tracks her chores, calendar, and screen-time rules; this number is the bridge between it and her watch.

It is not attached to a business, a product, or a mailing list. It exists because a kids' smartwatch is the only device on the other end.

Message types

Two kinds of message cross this number, both automated by software I wrote and run myself:

Inbound — from her watch
A photo she takes and sends from her watch. It's saved to a private photo board on her dashboard — nothing is posted publicly or forwarded elsewhere.
Outbound — to her watch
"It's almost curfew and there are still jobs left — come finish up!" — sent at most once a day, only when chores are still outstanding close to bedtime.

Consent

Opt-in language

There is no public sign-up form to screenshot, because this number has exactly one recipient — a device I administer myself for my own child. Below is the same consent record a public opt-in checkbox would carry, which I completed myself before turning messaging on.

I consent to receive automated text messages from the Bexley Text Line, including chore/curfew reminders and confirmations when a photo is received. Message frequency varies, up to a few messages per day. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. See Terms and Privacy Policy.

Opting out

Reply STOP to this number at any time to stop receiving messages, or HELP for help. Since the only recipient is a device I administer myself, opting out is also as simple as turning the reminder feature off in the dashboard's own settings, or removing this number from the watch.

Terms & conditions

This number is operated by Jacob Davenport for a single, personal, non-commercial purpose: connecting a home automation project to one family member's smartwatch. It is not a product or service offered to the public. Message frequency varies, up to a few messages per day. Message and data rates may apply, depending on the recipient's carrier plan. Reply STOP to cancel at any time, or HELP for help. These terms may be updated as the underlying project changes; the version in effect is always the one published at this URL.

Privacy policy

This number does not collect information from the public — its only contact is a single device I already own and administer. Any photo received through it is stored privately for that family member's own use and is never sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising. Phone numbers and message content are not used for any purpose beyond operating this project. Questions about this policy can be sent to the contact below.
